Seven days was the longest....and only. as I was stranded on a deserted island, I was camping on an uninhabited island, and the boat that was supposed to pick me up, had had mechanic failures and was in the slips being repaired.
I swam every day.... but it was getting uncomfortable.. |

I do not like going more than a day without a shower myself but I have gone five day before I started to complain about not wanting to be around me. Sad I know. When you are out in the desert though water can be a little scarce. Some people say "roughing it." Well when I rough it I really rough it!
How about some of those crazy homeless people? Some of them you can't stand any closer than fifteen feet away because of their funk! |

In the military I did a training excersize that lasted a week with no sleep, but we got to get a very, very cold dip in the ocean every so often. Our teams smell would knock a buzzard off a sh** wagon.

I would imagine 4 days if it's winter and I'm not working to a sweat.

No more than a day if I was very ill. This thread has made me think about what life must have been like hundreds of years ago.
Think about how disgusting it must've been back in the Middle Ages. I love seeing movies set in medieval times where the women look freshly washed and their hair is neatly brushed. They probably had entire colonies of creatures living in their hair... |

 I take a couple showers a day at least so I don't think I would like to go very long without one.

I shower with my skunk everyday. He likes being used as a cloth. Even lets me know by sharing his fresh sent with me.

I think I can go for 2 days......but if I had to be in a situation where I couldnt.....I guess I would just have to stand myself??? Not much I can do???
