As I walk through the alley it fills with smoke and smog

I look all around me and I am consumed in a putrid fog.

I gasp for air and fall to my knees hoping I wont die

The whole time wondering if this is it, is this my time?

The fog thins out and I look ahead and see an image clear

Who is this man who seems so cold who comes so very near?

I close my eyes and open them wide when he enters the light I see

That it is no stranger this man who comes, surely he is me.

I try to think but thoughts are gone as he reaches down a hand

He lifts me up and smiles at me and tells me to be a man.

Life throws u curves and kicks you in the ass, every ****ing day

All you can do is get back up and quietly he said, Dont stray.

Know your role in life is there and you will find it very soon

As he said this to me he looked up and pointed to a full white moon.

Days will pass and night will fade this is the way of the earth

But you must find your place and in turn find your worth.

Rise up my son and stand by me, the one who you will become

For you will realize more then ever once this dream is done.

Pain is all around and darkness comes on strong

Although this is around you so much you will never follow the wrong

The wrong people or path is not in your future you must be strong

Lead yourself and whoever comes with along the path that is your fate

Do this not and before long you will realize it may be too late

Head my words and follow my path to become who you shall be

A strong white male proud of himself who loves his family

My thoughts...

we all hopefully reach a moment in our lives where we are faced with ourselves, and have to be accountable for our lives.

Knowing who you are, trusting that, and being all of you, is the path you are supposed to be on.
