With my heart...
There is no single way to be generous. Different people need/appreciate different kinds of generosity. The trick is to hear that need and respond with the right commodity...it might be something material and it might be something else. ![]() |

I brought in some cookies for my team today, does that count?

I take time out of what I am doing to help someone out that could use, plus it gives me an excuse as to why I didn't finish what I had started to begin with. OK well that being said I guess I may not be that generous. Oh well

I brought in some cookies for my team today, does that count? yes ![]() I should have been more serious, as this is a good question... I just have trouble doing that this late at night, lol I give a lot of my time to help in ways I think would be useful to others. I like to help in a local animal shelter here, as well as help the other animals (I mean students) when they encounter life difficulties. ![]() |

I love to cook for people. When I can't do that, I take them out to eat, or give them food related gifts. Why? Because, for me, food and love go hand in hand. How often do you choose to share a meal with someone you dislike? (Business lunches aside).

Generosity of time....
I volunteer....at the local fire brigade, the local festival, the Victorian Bushfire rebuilding scheme, and in previous years , the Surf Club, Pony Club, St John's Ambulance... And help out where needed, when needed by whomever needs a hand. Generosity of money... We sponsor two kids in Indonesia, support various charities, and give a dollar or three when we have it, and someone needs it. Generosity of spirit... In everything I do, it is with purpose and intent to give back more than I have received, in heart, and in conscious kindness. And still I can do more... ![]() |

My roommates and I used to swap meals to pay each other back for bills and such. You know: "I owe you 10 bucks for the electric bill. How does sushi sound?" We are a bit distant for a picnic though. But if you have any recipes you want to swap, I am always open. ~Bigtime foodie |
