For those who mentioned Germany, I would highly recommend it. The
people are friendly and almost everybody I met could navigate English well enough to hold a conversation with me. I took a 6-hour train ride from Frankfurt to Amsterdam, and the scenery along the way was unbelievable. Castles on hillsides, some of the strangest little shacks you can imagine -- just amazing stuff. |
