Colorado was hit hard with a blizzard on Thursday. Everything closed down and roads were dangerous. And then the snow melted the next day. Gotta love it.

well, if you discount the torrential rain and tornadoes..it's just peachy... I've got the swimming pool I've always wanted right out in the front yard......care for a swim?

Beautiful, but the wind is supposed to pick up. We had sandstorms last weekend. Temperatures are getting up into the 80s during the day, many days, evenings drop into the 50s. The sky is crystal clear, and because I live in the middle of nowhere, is a beautiful rich black that I would NOT compare to velvet. It's more like ink. Definitely a liquid at any rate, because it is bottomless, and the stars float in it, some closer, some farther away. My friends and family don't understand it, but I love the desert. I love the desert also.

Here in Northwestern Michigan it is snowing with moderate winds, current temp is 30 degrees. Current accumulations are 2 inches, with another 2-4 to follow. Of course we thought Spring was here, almost all the snow was gone but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Gotta love spring - the moodiest of all the seasons, lol. Yesterday was warm until the storms rolled in, today it's cold and drizzling, and I had to turn my heat up. I've also gotten to mop the floors three times, thanks to the dog tracking in mud from all the rain, sheesh.

Chased him down earlier and ended up with a muddy trail through the house, hehehe. I've decided to just sweep the worst of it, and mop tonight after he's in for the night.

Right now, he's a speedy bugger, and I may be bigger than he is, but he's faster than me, lol. We're due to get snow today, and that is just WRONG. We were at 75 degrees not too long ago!
