No, it's not. ND is awesome. Where else can you go for miles and miles out on the open prairie and not see another person. I've lived other places, and I wouldn't leave the upper midwest for more than a visit to family elsewhere again.

In Florida you can go on a boat and not see another person if you want.

Or you can rent an air boat and drive through the everglades forever.. or put a boat on lake Okeechobee and stay there. You can go out on an island and camp in isolation for however long you want...

Yeah, but Florida has too many bugs. Ya might be able to avoid the excess population problem, but ya can't escape the bugs. Or the gators.

Oh, yeah. You don't find nicer people anywhere else. You also don't find stronger, more supportive communities anywhere else. It's really refreshing to see so many people pull together when someone needs help. You don't see that most places. Here in Garrison, we just had a benefit breakfast for to help a lady pay some of the bills from her husband's ATV accident and subsequent death. I know that it was hard for her, but everyone has been helping where and when they can. It's like this almost every time that someone has a long-term illness or a sudden death in the family.

If I could make the money here in florida, instead of North Dekota, i would. their no gators but their are snakes, moose, and miles of nothing. If I could find me a beatiful girl, I wouldn't mind the emptyness of my appartment. Their a reason this is called "the badlands"
