when manure started getting shipped for fertilizer, they stored it low in the holds onboard ships... several ships caught fire from the manure getting wet and igniting by spontaneous combution. Once this was discovered, they started storeing it high in transit... they labeled the bags by abbrieviating "Store High In Transit".. ****
