nicotine is more addictive than heroin

and the physical withdrawal symptoms make it hard to quit

Good for you. Sending positive thoughts your way. I know it's hard but in the end it will be so worth it. Always keep on trying. My mom's been dying of a lung disease for 6 years and is now in a resthome at 65. No way to live, but yet my three younger brothers all smoke. It has to be addictive to watch someone die and still do it.

You're doing great. It's the best thing you can do for your health.

My Dad used Wellbutrin and the Nicotine Patch to quit.

Make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

Start chewing on carrot sticks and gum.

Cut a straw in half and hold it in your hand to substitute the cig. You can also use the straw to act like it's a cig or chew on it.

Tooth pics are good too.

Get outside and go for a walk.

Good luck. flowerforyou

I've asked my doc for Wellbutrin to use with the Nicotine patch. He suggested Chantrix. I'm still leaning towards my way.

My Dad said that Wellbutrin made him not care that he wasn't smoking.
And he had been smoking for over 50 years.

You might want to look into that.
