Oh sure we do ..sometimes it gets up to 90 degrees F. But our really warm weather doesn't last that long as a rule .

I am about 3 hours away after you cross the border .I used to live in Windsor which is like 10 minutes away. It borders with Detroit.

I was in Winsor a long long time ago, when I was a kid. Used to have some shirt-tail relatives up in Detroit.

Well, if it ever stops snowing here, and I get some time off work, I'll pack a cooler full of Milwaukee style custard and some brats, and take a drive up there.

Ah, depending on the traffic going through Chicago, about six hours or so. But sometimes I do things a little differently when I travel for pleasure. There is a ferry that goes across the lake. And I've always wanted to go around the other way across the macinnake bridge and over to Mich. that way.

That sounds like a very nice trip indeed. Have you ever been to Niagra Falls? In this case they say the Canadian side is much nicer than the American side.

Yeah, about twentyfive years ago. Never made it over to the Canadian side though, long story.

yeah, sorta, it was college, I was with a girl that was not a U.S. citizen. So when the mounties ask us are you from the U.S. the dummy says no. Anyway I think I am going to brave the storm, poop the dog, and take a walk up to the local and have a few good ole Canadian beers.
