It wasn't a guy that said it... it was a woman. I'm sure she didn't intend to offend me but come on...

This is what I was waiting for. It's so ironic that whenever any type of crime is involved, the first person most people assume the offender to be is a male.

I had someone tell me 'it must be rough raising a child in a broken home'
Excuse me?? rant My family isn't "broken" Just because I'm not with her father does not mean we are "broken". Actually, we would be far more broken had we stayed together.
Broken implies something that needs to be fixed. We are not broken. OK... I'm done with my tangent now.

Your sure cute when you get upset

I think my home is less broken now than when my son's father and I were still together. My son is very happy and a well adjusted child, can't see how that is broken.

Noun 1. broken home - a family in which the parents have separated or divorced

Although the term is dated I don't think it's worth getting up in arms about. spock

aww- I hate that term. I used to love the qoute "This is my family, it is little and broken- but it's good.. yeah- still good" just because it was cute (lilo and stich)- but not anymorenoway since my divorce..
