Make you a full slab of ribs the way you traditionally do and to that. Add like merlot or your choice of wine on top(just make sure you do not over do it use your common sense) and serve your ribs with

a) tator totts
b) clams oven baked.,
c) sour cream nachos and spicy salsa with lots of tomato

for dessert consider

d) chocolate pudding or

e) WITH SORBET RASBERRY WITH BANANNA BREAD.. and continue onward with my next menu plan without the exact recipe details.

but in the meantime savor this one!!drinker

I'm a vegetarian but I love your companion courses! I will substitute the ribs for grilled portobello mushrooms.

The chocolate pudding reminds me of my favorite combo: zinfandel and dark chocolate truffles. smitten

Tater tots?

I think some hand cut oven fries would be way better.

I like tater tots but they don't seem a good match for this meal.

A good addition to the ribs would be french fried or barbequed sweet potatos. I had Ribs baked slowly in the oven, along with french fried sweet potatos and a quarter head of cabbage(seasoned) All were baked in the oven together to conserve energy. I did not drink wine or dessert with it though. flowerforyou
