no, we're having 2 yr ends b/c we're changing to a new fiscal year end. Budget cuts b/c of the economy and the owner my boss wants to see how many ways he can screw us and take benefits away... you know the good ol' stuff... lol

Me too Fire.. I really don't mind working late, I just don't like his making up numbers to justify wage cuts when we don't need to AND that he doesn't come in until 4 and won't meet with me until 6 just to have company... the bit meanie... LOL

Yeah... we're going through the same crap in my line of work, too- my Local just approved a new bargaining agreement with the producers, saying that we "came out ahead" DESPITE the fact they boned us on our medical benefits (we now need more hours to qualify for benefits, which we get FEWER of) and the fact that the supposed pay hike we're getting only amounts to about 75-cents more.

All this while a Producers in the AMPTP (the Producers' union, that is) will have a BASE salary of $10,000 a week. And JUST to push a friggin' pen around too, not counting whatever other lofty amounts of money they skim off of a production budget.

Like Fiiyyaaahh said... be glad you have a job, though. There aren't very many people out there who can say that.
