I'm currently watching unfaithful while at work and I statred thinking about why so many people get mad at the WRONG person. People get mad at the person their partner cheats with instead of their partner.. I find this S0 BACKWARDS... Someone drop some insight

When I used to play checkers with my grandmother, it was pretty obvious who was cheating.

There's an equal portion of guilt for both of them...provided the one they are cheating with KNOWS they are married...

you are right....it's the cheating partner that is in the wrong. They are the one that made a committment to you ...not the other person. now you may think little of the pther person but they didn't make a committment

You are watching a movie while at work?? I want your job. I have never been paid to watch a movie.

I think it's easier for some people to blame the third party than to admit that there's fundamentally a huge problem with their partner.

Amen, and also, ...fundamentally a huge problem with self. As I've stated before, there are just plain cheating jerks out there who have no real right to a relationship. But more often than not, in an otherwise monogomous relationship, cheating tends to be a symptom of a relationship gone awry. The cheating is not the reason the relationship has gone awry. But it sure makes it harder to get a relationship back on track.

yeah NS hey....

but it reminds me of my college freshman writing class....our female professor had a degree in....oh wait...damn, she might be in here actually kekekekekeke....

but anyways, the entire class was athletes, my soccer team mates and some of the football players...and one girl, who was kinda alternative...we talked the professor into letting us just watch movies all semester and then write about the movies....I remember Gattaca was one of the movies....

I work at a group home for emotionally/ behaviorally disturbed teens( actually the youngest is 18) I watch on sundays while they are still asleep. Its either 100% relaxed or 100% crisis..... My life is threatned almost daily and the second they realize that there isint much I can do without loosing my job is the day I either catch a beatdown or loose my job for defending myself....

Definitely a huge problem with self also. Probably a massive communication rift too.

I think part of it is denial as well. A lot of times when we are cheated on, we tend to ask ourselves "What did I do wrong to deserve this?" It's a lot easier blaming the third party then considering maybe we played a role in the partner's cheating, even though we had nothing to do with it.
