There are so many things I would never ask a person I know. There are things I would rather not know. I know people who spew information their mouths are like a rancid cesspool. Or they ask me questions I'd never answer... WTH?

How do you put up boundaries to address these issues?

I just flat tell them "your question is far too personal for the amount of time I have known you".

I tell them I don't discuss certain areas of my life or certain topics. I trained a girl last night at work and she told me her entire life story in 2 hours, I was happy to pass her on to the next person who had to finish training her.

Give them an answer that will boost your reputation that is neither a lie nor truth. Kind of like selling a product on TV.

Oh hell no....laugh I have wicked boundaries. I'm actually curious as to the process whereby others set theirs up...

It seems so easy for me, but not for others. I find that interesting.

first off boundries are a good thing when starting a relationship but hopefully they would drop soon after progressing into more

but on the persons behalf who is asking the Q

if they don't ask they don't know

extreme example;

on first date said person asks you if you want to spend the night with him. Well maybe he wants you to say NO this in turn tells him more about you than things said during the evening. But if you say yes then he is all about the evening and tomorrow he is gone like the wind.

so with that said the questions may be asked to learn more not the responce said
