I swear there are no "good" cartoons anymore or kids shows.

When did everyone get so mean and pissy???

Blame the computer/information age. Kids today are borne into a sophisticated world, and that's all they've ever known, or ever WILL know. They've never known a world without computers, without ipod's, without remote controls, without only three channels on the TV to choose from. They've never known anything other than instant gratification, meaning they don't have to wait for Saturday morning for cartoons to come on at 6:00 a.m. and watch them until they went off at noon. Today, they can watch them whenever they want, albeit at the expense of a much lower show quality, despite the advancement of computer generated technology. The age of innocence no longer exists.

Wanna REALLY confuse her? Show her a record.

Perhaps a telephone with a cord on it.

Maybe even an Atari game.

my daughter loves Ni Hao Kai-lan and Oobi. There are some excellent shows on Noggin it turns into the N at a certain time of night but I love how they tell how the show helps your childs learning process.

I sometimes spend the day looking up old cartoons on youtube lol sometimes i find them on boomerang.

I haven't seen a decent cartoon since sometime in the 90's.

Alot of it is also due to parents that gripe about how violent cartoons are....I seem to recall most of the cartoons the same parents watched in the 80s as being pretty violent.
