A girl in my child's class was born with alopecia. She has no hair at all.

No. I like you just the way that you are. Although as I wrote this post, I strongly suspected that we'd end up going south (of the border). Brazil is nice any time of year.

Don't Panic!

I have shaved my head a few times over the years.... and it was incredible the attenton it created...

Men who never did anything but leer from a distance, were suddenly hanging around, and some women, who never looked at me twice, were rather flirtatious, and interested in more than I realised..


Frst time I shave my head, I had dreads halfway down my back, and it was a fundraiser, called, "Shave for a Cure"... raising funds for cancer research.

It was very exposing.... to not have an 'image', nor to be able to hide behind the hair...it was the best thing I have ever done in personal development, for myself.

The second time, was for a girlfriend who was undergoing chemo treatment... she was distressed at losing her hair, so I said clip mine off, and then if she is ok with it, I would do hers for her.

She just needed to know she was still her.... with or without hair, that it did not define her.

I had my hair shaved down for a bit after my mohawk. Mohawk was a fun time, the sides of my head were really soft and smooth.. and I felt adorable. hehe, I can agree, girls with bald heads do have an interesting allure to them
