Txs excellent post & well written. Think this subject has been well
covered from all points. Much further conversation would seem a waste
time & space.

Thank you, Texas, I appreciate that. And I completely agree with your
post.

Daniel, "it's" is a contraction for "it is."

"Its" shows possession.

Damn those typos, eh?

I agree with you almost comletely Txs on what you said. And I agree
that no matter what anyones opinion is abot a law, ifit gets broke you
pay the price. However in the case of stat rape (18 y/ and 16 y/o
example) the charges were able to be made by the parents, which is what
I do nto agree with, and the states are changing. It SHOULD be a case
by case issue, witht he DA deciding which one shuld be tried and which
one shouldnt. And this is what the states are moving towards no
thankfully.

Sage, very wise statements concerning age, etc. Thankyou. Lulu, I see
your point and understand. Daniel, the last post you made really sums it
up. I agree the law is their for a reason, but when parents or scorned
"lovers" use it as a means of vengeance it really nullifies the
existence of said law.

LOL..a man who walks out on his child is responsible for the financial
and emotional care of that child.

A 22-year-old MAN who has sex with a 16 year-old GIRL (or whatever is
less than the age of consent these days) is guilty of statutory rape.

Doesn't matter whether you like it, doens't matter whether Daniel likes
it, doesn't matter whether I like it -- or not -- he is still guilty of
a crime.

The inneundos that someone would accuse someone of a crime simply
because they were "scorned" are completely uncalled for.
