Why is it so hard for single parents to find true love? Alot of people
as soon as they find out that you have kids they run the other way. I
would like to hear from you why they do that?

It happened to me, when my kids were 10 and 11, I met this nice man who
took me and my two kids from my first marriage and treated them as his
own. We lived happily ever after till he passed away. Don't give up
girls.

I've never had a chance to date a single mother before, but in my view,
the child would just mean I'd have to stay on my toes ^.^

I have had the pleasure of dating a single mother before, and in fact
became engaged to her while in the army. We got stationed across the
worlld fromeach other before we could get married, and it failed from
there, but I do not regret a single minute of it. While we were
together I treated her 2y/o son as if he was my son without even
thinking twice about it. hell I didnt think ONCE about it I just did
it.
To me, a cild is a little angel, a present from god no matter what the
circumstances may be. And also for me, I follow an old rule: any one
can be a mother or a father, but it takes that special someone to be
mommy or daddy.

Where are you supposed to find the "good guys"? Imean the bar scene is
just a meat market and it it is hard to flirt with guysat work because
of the wholesexual harrasment stuff

I don't think all guys run from single mom's!! I haven't had any
problems at all. I think you just have to let the men know up front that
you are a packaged deal. Even if one of my kids don't like them...then
its not going to happen!! I think I finally found a perfect guy for
me...so good luck to all the single women looking for that perfect man

I would date a woman with childrem, however, I won't waive my desire to
have my own.

I think thats the problem, some women have children early in age and
then have their tubes tied. Then I think sometimes when they meet a man
and fall in love, if the man wants children...that can create a lot of
problems.

For a while, it was unusual, to be with a woman, that didn't have
children! It's a matter of mind set, and priorities. Some people, men
and women, aren't ready to take on that extra commitment. There's not
only, extra mouths to feed, there are extra brains to feed, also!!! Some
might get overwhelmed, by the situation. In which case, lady, you might
be better off!!! Wish you hope, and love!

It is hard to have someone accept someone else's children especially if
he has children the same age! . I don't think it's even worth trying if
there are problems , been there done that.Personally I could never love
a man more then my own children.
