Right now I am reading Your Heart Belongs To Me by Dean Koontz. His books are real page turners and I cant seem to put them down until Im done

I have only read one Dean Koontz novel that I didn't particularly like and that was Intensity.

Just couldn't get into that one for some reason.

A lot of you are reading Koontz. I love him. You guy's into his "Odd Thomas" books? If you haven't read any of these, they are definitely my favorites.

Also, besides these ones, have you all noticed that his books are becoming a lot more humorous? I have read most of them, and it's just the newer ones....I love it though, it makes the books that much more fun to read.

Edit:

You know, that wasn't one of my favorites. Try "Darkest Evening of the Year", or "The Watchers" or "Fear Nothing".

I haven't read " Darkest Evening " yet. I have read Watchers....and I absolutely LOVE the two Christopher Snow books. I really wish he'd go back to that series again.

The Odd Thomas books are very, very good too.

Have you read the two Frankenstein books?

Have you read the two Frankenstein books?

No, did you enjoy them? Do they have anything to do with the original Frankenstein?

I usually have 2-5 books going at any one time. Yeah, weird, I know.

+ Lonesome Dove - Larry McMurtry(for the millionth time)
+ Oklahoma County Clerks 1500 page handbook (about 1/2 way through)
+ Taltos - Anne Rice (last 100 pages) (Darkowl - you are right about traveling the city and knowing where things are. I spent many summers down there running around. The books definitely brought back memories!)
+ The Devil's Bones - Jefferson Bass
+ A Fine Dark Line - Joe R. Lansdale

hey thanks, and sorry about the late reply!!drinker drinker

In their own way, they do.

But it's definitely a different take on the Frankenstein story.

Very good reads. But there were supposed to be a few books in the series..but I have only seen two of them...maybe three.

I'm almost halfway through Eldest by Christopher Paolini. It's the sequel to Eragon (there was a movie made from this one).

My youngest son, who's 14, has the series...'Brisingr' is the third, with another due out over the next year.

I really enjoys those. I actually have them sitting on my desk beside me, though I finished them almost two months ago now. I used them to write a "research paper" about Eragon, as an example for my 8th graders who have to research papers (they are doing biographies), complete with a works cited page and Parenthetical notations.

Some of them thought it was cool. For most of them it only drove home the conclusion that I am a nerd.
