Who here likes vampires? I love them. Right now I am reading Night World No.1. There are three stories in this one book. Two other books to follow. I got this one a while back but just not had the chance to pick it up until today. I just cannot seem to put it down. I can't wait to Read and watch Twilight. I told myself that I wouldn't until I red this series. But it works out. I have a friend that wants to read my books in exchange for Twilight.

So do you? Or don't you? What is your take of these creatures of the night world?

Oh I love vampires. I think I have almost all the movies about them. And read a lot of books too.

i hate to sound like the typical cliche female of around my age range but...

i think robert pattinson is hella sexy looking when he's all cleaned up

i LOVE them , i love the anita blake series they really rocked, and i watched the first season of true blood on hbo. i liked it too.
i really like the other charactures like the leopard shapeshifters. i also love the way that vampires always look like a page in the history books and at the same time have a modern outlook on their current life.

there are so many out there now its hard to keep up with all, but i'm still partial to anne rice and poppy z brite. the twilight series wasn't too bad as well

Twilight isn't a bad series. A LOT of people don't like Meyer's writing. I enjoyed both of the books I have read so far. I think some people have trouble with their suspension of disbelief. Not that there aren't plenty of times when you want to slap Bella upside the head, but I have definitly read worse.


Read a romance novel called Single White Vampire the other month. It's good for a laugh. It's about a vampire, who is a romance writer, who has a thing for his editor....

If you like the Anita Blake books, you have GOT to check out J.R. Ward and her Black Dagger Brotherhood...all I can say is MRWOWWWWWW

I've loved vampires since I was a kid, I believed one lived under my bed lol and I wanted to meet him.
And I'm sorry, but I thought the Twilight books bit fanny :( I was so disapointed.
If y'all ever get the chance, and happen to go down to New Orleans, be sure to check out a bar down there called The Dungeon *shivers* Many many "vamps" hang out in there, so if you have fang envy it's a riot!

Am I the only one left who feels that Count Dracula was and is the ultimate blood sucker? Can never see the one with Gary Oldman to much. Have read the book several times over. The ultimate timeless love story
