Im from the Appalachian hills of Kentucky, this is a sensative subject for me.

No family, no reunion. Problem solved.

We only had one on my dad's side of the family. I was 7 or 8? Not sure. It was fun. Never been to any other.

I don't go to family reunions, 'cause I have relatives, but no family........


.....and the last time I remember one being held was 1982.

we have great family reunions

I have cousins and uncles and aunts from all over Texas

we spend all day eating and drinking lemonade and playing with the grandkids and then at night all us grownup kids head into town for drinking and pool playing

My last family reunion was like something out of the twilight zone. Just as bizarre and crazy and fun as it could be. Just beyond description. It involved alcohol, tobacco, firearms, fruits, vegetables, a semi tractor trailer full of canned food, dividing 2 deceased relatives estates, gambling in vegas, and laughlin, winning 5 thousand dollars, and everything else you could possibly imagine from prostitution to espionage. Best family reunion I ever f*cking had!!!! You know when you're looking at 40 years federal prison time- you had a great family reunion. 1992.

Haven't been to one yet. I guess my family just isn't all that close enough to wanna hold such festivities, I guess.
