When I am on my home page I have noticed the Who's Viewed me.
I go there and theres a mess of people. What is it about someones
profile that draws you to look in the first place?

Is it the Caption or the Picture?
and,Do you actually read the whole thing before moving on?

and once you are there, why not just leave a little note like,
Hi.. was just looking, thank you
or
Opps, sorry hit the wrong thing
or
Nice pic
or just something

And well, maybe the one who was viewed could say something like
thanks for stoppin by
or
You are welcome

Maybe the hippie is comming out in me and all that peace and love crap ,
now I almost feel like bursting out in " I'd like to teach the world to
sing"


I just think it would be nice, it's not an obligation it's just showing
people that there is still a lil hospitality in a hello or a thanks, or
even a no thank you can be kind.

I don't know maybe by taking that little small step a great friend could
be found.

I'm on one website where it shows that, in my time on there (maybe a
year?) almost 7,000 men have viewed my profile.

Yet on that particular website, I rarely get any mail, compared to the
number of men who have viewed me.

Why?

Because I clearly state I'm not looking for an intimate encounter and
almost all their profiles state that they are.

I'm glad they leave me the hell alone. I get enough mail from men who
are looking for a one-night stand as it is, even though I make it clear
that's not what I'm looking for.

I look at people's profiles for a number of different reasons. A lot of
times it's because I can't tell details from the small picture that
shows up when they make a post, so I'll click on it to see it better.

Other times, it's because they post something that interests/intrigues
me, so I'll look at the profile to see what they have to say about
themselves.

Other times it's because they'll say something that makes me go, "WTF??
What kind of a person would say such a thing?" so I'll look to see what
they have to say about themselves.

i just look at all of them , im curious by nature, doesnt matter about
the picture, the words are what counts, being because most of the ones i
look at live miles and miles away.

im still a firm believer that on the interent , age, looks , pictures,
should not matter, of course no pedofile crap should happen , i dont
mean it that way.

but what does it all matter for if you are just looking for people to
have a conversation with?

besides, people are a study all on their own.

WEll, for the most part.... when i look a a persons profile its cause
usually something in the forums catches my eye or a pic such as the kiss
pandas up there. If i do stop in, i dont always leave a little note,
but i do consider it. sometimes i go back and look it over to see if
things have changed at all. there are a few "love stories" i have been
following along with in some of the testimonials. and there i do send
kudos.

maybe just leave a little smiley like a wave when you pass someone on a

Well I know that if anyone sees that I have viewed there profile it is
due to something they said on a thread or posted the thread itself. At
times I will read others profile just to get and ideal of who they are
or to see how old they are before I post to the thread. Then at times I
might me just going through the post and accidently click on there pic
while scrolling down. Or something will catch my eye they have said or
the pic they have up and in order to see the pic better will click on it
in order to see it better. I have the same thing each day also for me I
delete them everyday. At times there has been one or two profiless that
seem to be there each time but.... they have had problems at times with
glitches and the person did not look at others profiles but it showed
they did. Myself I don't let it bother me actaully don't think anything
about it. Cause sometimes when we have a pic up that is not us others
don't notice the name first and click to see what the person looks like
then realize who it was after all. So if anyone sees that I have looked
please just realize I was only curious to the person for usually when I
do I do read the profile also. No harm intended just
curious.

Oh, I forgot to add, I'll also view a profile to see whether or not the
person is on line at the time.

Yup, all those reasons Jean listed are why i have looked at someone's
profile. There are several.

i rarely look... if they didnt email me rarely does one catch my eye...
well if they are on my friend list and they have been viewing me then
that does sometimes .... but if they dont email me i dont care who looks
i just x them out...
