i want to make a new start in life. coz i m sick and tired the way my life has been.....all these while i used to live for other people.never had time for myself. As a result i paid some big prices till now.i have began to doubt myself and lost my confidence. i want to get over all these things......can u people suggest me how???

there's a book that changed my life. if you want, get it in audiobook. it's easier to digest. it will get you out of this situation...promise.....it's called, "How to win friends and influence people" i swear by it, and follow what it has to say daily!
and i love ganesh....mover of obsticles i really do promise it will help.

you are way overseas, i didn't know. do you have a good sized bookstore there? you should be able to find something on Brigade Road. it's a busy place....

it has always been my experience that it' impossible to find love until you have love for yourself.As for confidence there's a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt that says "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent", this attitude towards life has always helped me feel confident in myself.Look for the positives in your life no matter how few they may seem and try not to dwell on things that you are u are feeling negative about because you will drive yourself crazy without a doubt. I hope my advice has helped you i understand life's difficulties having had many off my own and having had been in a similar emotional state not too long ago in my life. I hope everything works out for you. good luck!!

I think asking us too much will just shift things for you.... asking the occasional qestion now and again is one thing, but I think you might be becoming reliant on asking us what to do. It has been a patten over the past several days and that is not a good thing.

Well, I got kicked out of the Honors Psychology program for wanting to research this, only to find it years later being touted by Tony Robbins: find five people you admire, then each day assign them a number 1-5, then roll a die, then the rest of the day you act like the person choosen (on 6 you act like yourself). This way you get to practice those traits you admire.
