Are Crocs the most brilliant, most comfortable, most awesome and stylish innovation in modern footwear or are they just the most moronic looking fashion trend ever?

Me, personally, if I see a man wearing Crocs, I run...run as fast as I can. In the opposite direction. Unless they're white or green and he works in a hospital. And even then, I usually slip him a Dansko or Birkenstock catalog. |

Awful! I don't normally notice shoes but those things belong in the garden or in the closet only! |

They are most likely comfy.... but no way no how am I wearing them or subjecting my kid to them. Flip flops are A-okay with me. |

      Rule of thumb:

Never wear shoes that you wouldn't look cute in if they were the only thing you're wearing.

My 7yr old neice has some...I slipped a pair on just to see what all the fuss was about...she's got big feet...they are very comfy...but I wouldn't wear 'em anywhere outside...

Tied with Uggs and jelly shoes, they are the ugliest "footwear" ever. My brother was a chef and wore them in the kitchen when he was on his feet for 12-15 hours at a time, swore they were the most comfortable shoes ever. That I can see. But he would NEVER have worn them in public and I most certainly don't want to see them in public either.

I buy the cheap knock-off brand, they are very comfortable and light.

However the thread wears very quickly, and they slip easily on a damp or wet floor. I prefer the black or dark blue BTW I do work in the hospital, and they are not recommended because of the large number of holes in them. Birkenstocks are strictly for birth-control, the ones I've seen are attached to really hairy legs |

For our climate they are great...

We have been wearing them since 2003...well, only if we have to have something on our feet, to go somewhere...most times we are barefoot... I work barefoot... every part of our lives is very casual...but it is where we live, and the climate/lifestyle. |
