For those of you who've actually hooked up with others via Mingle2, I'm just curious how these first meetings/first dates usually go.

My experience, yesterday, was mind-blowing. We'd talked for about a week before actually meeting and before I knew it we were cuddling and kissing and that's way more than I would have expected. Is that just a rare occurrence or is that kind of the general expectation? Because I'm wanting to think that's a good sign that she and I felt that comfortable in our first face-to-face meeting.

well when i met my guy. he didnt try to kiss me or hold my hand, and on the 2nd date we went to the falls which was cool, and again he didnt try to hold my hand or kiss me. both times though he did give me a hug. he finally gave me a kiss on new yrs. that was cool

Okay, so this IS something special then. I'm glad. She was the one making the moves, too, so that means the attraction is mutual and not one-sided. I've had unpleasant experiences with insincerity and I can tell this is genuine.

I'm finally goin to meet the guy I've been emailin and talkin to on the phone for several months now this weekend. I'm anxious, nervous and excited. We get along so well talkin that I'm hopin the face to face goes as well. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I ran into someone last week at the laundry-mat that I had 'met' on Mingle2.

No thank you. But she looked just like her picture, and she had not lied about her weight or age.

Have not met anyone from this site as of yet?? Was going to go out on a date, but the guy got pushy and I cancelled right away.

I have met about ten guys in person from this site. Almost all have nicknames.

Most have no idea who they are. One thought divorced apparently mean just not living together.... I just want to meet Lexy. We can drink Pepsi and I will slip him some GHB so I can watch American Idol with him.
