they've tried to take my pic here, and i've found out, and when they find out that it's a picture of me for real, they totally freak, and take it off of their site.

*AHEM* Speak NOT of what you do NOT know of...until it happens to YOU personally! And trust me...it DOES happen, more than you think.

Sure, if I were *looking* for my long lost love on the internet, I may be more likely to expose some personal and more discernable pictures of myself, but I'm NOT. I did get "burned" by this before and have been VERY careful ever since.

I do, however, allow a VERY few female friends of mine here to keep pics posted on their profiles of me and them together...because it means a lot to them and me as a remembrance of when we met in person.

Lastly, I never judge anyone (nor did even before it happened to me) that chooses not to post a pic on the internet.

people here tend to judge those of us who don't have up real pics of ourselves. some people outright say that they refuse to talk to people who don't post a pic of themselves. maybe we're ugly, or maybe we're fraunds etc etc. i too, am not here to date anyone so i don't really care what anyone thinks so there
