...its fast cheap and easy ^^^ Precisely why I ABHORE text messaging! IMHO, it is the lazy man's way out of actually communicating on any intimate level with someone. We all seem to look for the "quick fix" in expressing ourselves these days. Granted, I'm busy...much like all of you...but, if I can't find the time to actually CALL someone to let them hear my voice expressing my thoughts/feelings...just SHOOT ME, ok? Certainly, I text occasionally (a few times a month, if at all)...but, it is only to update the hubby on my whereabouts and ETA, confirm an appointment with a client, etc. But, when it becomes to look/feel/sound like a CONVERSATION...for God's sake, CALL! As a closing note, when I do text...I text in complete and correct ENGLISH! Again, ABHORE is the perfect word to explain how I feel about jibberish "text speak". That is just plain lazy to bastardize the English language for the sake of saving self-professed "precious time". No one, and I mean NO ONE is THAT busy!!! Next thing you know, we will all be asked to "Press 3 for Textspeak"!!!

I LOVE my text messaging. I range about 3000 text messages a month if not more. I went out am bought a cell with a QWERTY keyboard, just so I can pump my messages out faster.

I text but I would much rather speak on the phone to the person...the emotions are there and you can hear it in their voice and reactions to what you are talking about...besides I am way to busy to be texting all of the time.
