It is very cheap to produce and the stations make tons of money. I'm hoping it has peaked. There was time I thought decent programming on the networks was completely doomed. I'm looking forward to seeing Leno's variety show. That's a genre that I've missed. I hope it works...

I learn a lot from watching "Survivorman" and a few other reality shows on Discovery, Travel Channel, and Food Network.

I tend to classify most of that as "educational tv." It's a jump from Forensic Files to The Bachelor

Ah, but while your title says reality, the lead post is saying "a RV show", extending the whole concept to all shows rather than just reality TV.

As for the reality shows, even thought I've watched a few, I will admit, I think they do turn my brain to goo..... We need a melting Smiley.

Get back to me. laugh But don't be surprised if you find it tougher to come up with a cogent argument after you finish watching it.

Awwww, I actually like hunting them down. There's quite a bit of cool stuff in photobucket and other places. Ya never know what you might find.

IMO I don't see anything "real" about reality tv.
