This Law As Yet,Has Nothing To Do With President Obama...
As A Person Of Faith He Is Likely To Be Against It... I Am Not Religious,Nor Conservative (Quite The Opposite),But I Would Vote Against Such A Law (Given The Chance)... I Think Alcohol Consumption Is Misguided,At Best... A Clear And Ever Present Danger To Both The Individual And Society... However History Has Proven We Can Not Legislate Morality,Which Is Why Marijuana Should Also Be Legal (But That Is Another Discussion)... But My Thought Is If One Is Going To Partake In A Social Level Of Drinking,And Not Outright Crazed Addiction,Than One Can Plan To Fill Their Alcohol Needs During All The Other Times Alcohol Is Available... Having Alcohol Available On Sundays Clearly Serves Only The Already Alcohol Impaired,Who Can No Longer Plan Ahead And By Definition Are Out Of Control Of Their Addiction... And Yet Logic Rarely Prevails In This Society... |

so i hear now that obama has been bringing up the topic of the suday law... wich is prophesied in daniel and revelations.. i am an adventist so this is frightening to me... please give me your thoughts, yours truely Andrew Why should you be frightened? If you're a religious person and you believe the end days are near you should be thrilled. I'll never understand religious people and their totally unwarranted fears. If I thought that Jesus was coming back and these were the end days I'd be thrilled myself and I'm not even a "Christian" by the standards of bigots. That's doesn't bother me because I believe that if Jesus exists he'd actually be smart enough to recognize that I'm on his side despite what the bigots think. Either God is about GOOD, or God is about EVIL. If you believe that God is about GOOD, and you KNOW that you are a GOOD person, then what's to fear? The only thing you could fear in that situation would be God. But if you fear God it can only be because you either don't believe that YOU are a good person, or you don't TRUST God to be a GOOD God. The idea of that I should be afraid of my Creator just because a bunch of Bigoted Christians say so is asburd. That's certainly NOT what Jesus taught. Christians are the ones who try to make Jesus out to be a MONSTER. Relax. There's nothing to fear unless you're a BAD PERSON. |

Just out of curiosity, how would 'The Sunday Law' affect Seventh-day Adventists? Since Saturday is the Sabbath for you.

The Sunday laws would never make it past the lobbyists. People have been predicting the end times since long before Jesus was born. Some even believe the second coming has already come and gone. What makes you more correct than all the others before you?

indeed, well intentioned eye's shall rise up, try to drive out evil, speading do gooding to bring back to former days, by enforcing religions and holy sanctity upon the peoples, and trying to change the leaves of evil on the tree mankind, by enforcing changing of the actions percieved as evil, with no true sight that the heart decide the actions, and no amount of trying to control actions with chains, shall ever prevail, and the great equalizer shall ride into town, with truth on his saddle, and break the chains of slavery of religion, that first created the very inception of evil within a people's.
