When I bought my home I wasnt sure if it was the right decision. My
first week here I woke one morning early at 5 am...fixed a cup of
coffee.and put on my robe to have morning coffee on the deck and watch
the sun come up..I walked out on the deck and there in the birch
tree..10 ft away..was a large bald eagle sitting on a branch...he didnt
take off right away..but looked over his shoulder at me as I came thru
the door...like he was saying “oh..it’s you”....I could see the muscles
on his back and wings as he lifted up off the branch...the branch went
down because of his weight...and I watched him fly away...guess I had my
answer...A great totem image for me..instant connection ....anyway I
realized that I was in the right place. The eagle has come back a few
times...and one winter I watched the eagle family with 2 chicks..stand
on the ice by open water on the lake fishing...very cool..

Do the rest of you believe in symbols..do you look for them?

yes I love music notes and instruments and stuff.

I wouldn't call them symbols, but yes, i do beleive in omens...

I have had many omens over my lifetime...I think that it shows me that I
am in the right place in my life. Likewise, I have also had some bad
omens appear...When I see them, I think that something is wrong in my
life, and I need to figure out what it is, and fix it...

yeah I take signs in when I least expect it. Otherwise when I look, I
tend to mislead myself.

Yes, I have watched for those special signs all my life. Little signs
from my guardians that helped me thru life. I feel a few saved my life,
keeping me from a dangerous path.
Gwen & I both believed in such things/powers in everyone's lives, all we
have to do is watch/feel/listen to nature & our guardians.

In all honesty Bill, I don't believe anything in life is a coincidence!

I feel everything happening at this moment is just as planned,

the way it is suppose to be in the universe.....

yeah tulip...I've had many many strange events in life...
has reminded me that we only see part of the show as we
walk thru life...but the feeling of being connected however
brief..is pretty special..

at a family reunion and everyone was sitting in chairs in a large
room..and in the corner was adolf hitler..WTF!! was that? haha...

I'M a believer!!! I feel our WHOLE lives are followed by our
spirit guides!!

one has but to open their eyes as the spirits are NEVER far..

My spirit guide is within me. Sometimes I see outward signs that speak
to me, but mostly I just ask, and the answer comes to me as a feeling of
peace, or one of caution. I try not to do anything major or
life-changing when I'm confused. I wait until the way is clear. No
matter how frustrating the wait may be, I always do better when I wait
for that signal.

..I agree zero....I think nature (god) is always sending signs
that say "follow me, for just one second" ...so easy to forget about
that in todays world....stop to smell the roses has definite
meaning ....

I had a real crappy year last year and was going through a really
stressful time with a lot of uncertainty. One morning I noticed on my
way out the door that a flower was coming up right by the edge of my
front step. It was October...everything is dead here at that time and I
thought it wouldn't get a chance to grow before the winter cold killed
it. It was a lupin and grew to full maturity and sent up blooms until
december. Unheard of here. I'm not sure why but it gave me comfort and
made me feel things would be OK and they were...It was a weird
experience.
