I lost an hour
I gained perspective I lost a friend I've felt protected It's just a matter Of how you view it To see the good Life becomes more fluid I've felt stuck Kinda like sticky glue When I focus on the loss Instead of loving you The journey is grand If I give it my very best Focus on what can be done Instead of past regrets Snowballing now An optimistic view Taking chances again Believing dreams can come true Spring makes it's way Green sprouts in a flower bed A breathe of fresh air Embracing what lies ahead Rain dancing Tin roof tops come alive Life becomes fluid As we dare to plunge Take a dive Taking chances Believing in a brighter day Living to the fullest Come what may Cleaning out spouts Of a clogged up head Bitterness loss Unforgiveness and dread Cleaned up the thinking Letting life again flow It's a matter of choice To stay stuck or grow ************************* This brings a new meaning to "It's not easy being green!"
