The Whale Song ...... (for pkh)



I have traveled the oceans

And my journeys long

Have done many rights

Yet know I have also done wrong

To cut short the symphony of the whale song



Can you hear the whale calling?

Calling its name

Yet those in the factory

They all look the same

For them poetry in water

Is just profit and gain?



The waters turn crimson

Caused by metal and wood

No cause for the battle

No evil no good

Till the whale lays silent and misunderstood



We listen to causes

Heads held up high

We speak of injustice

And we use the word try

Yet not for the whale do we ever use the word why



So please carry this song

In the depths your heart

Remembering that words that I say

If the battle continues the waters remain red

All the whales will have all gone away
