because we live in a disposable society. We replace everything when it has problems, including our s.o.'s. That, and most are too damn lazy and self-centered to put forth the effort to make a relationship work. I see it everytime a person posts a question about a problem in a relationship...every one gives them the advice to dump it...very few advise to work through the problem.

These days I would have to say it's economic. If there isn't financial issues, it seems one or both parties are working so much that there's no relationship building, no bonding. Thats how so many people grow apart.

We all change in our own way all of the time. It may not be the same as our s.o. does, and so therefore they aren't willing to accept it. Or they just might not understand it. Either way, they eventually grow apart. Now there can be the lucky ones that accept the small changes whatever they may be, and go along with it. Those are the ones that last.

Your words are very true! there are a lot of people who post certain problems when advice that come about is to "dump them" cheaters, beaters , drug use and the list goes on.. But your right we are a disposable society and The willingness of 2 people being really open and honest with communication is hard to find... I agree people should work out the problems... always try that.

i think that people are getting married/starting families so young. they dont know who they are, who they want to be and what they need in a partner.
