WTF......
I get atleast 5 emails a day with ppl saying they are interested in
talking to me, but they want to do it on yahoo and msn. (i assume for
the cameras)

EXAMPLE: i will like to know much more about you.If you will agree to
that then just add me @hotmail.com / @yahoo.com) so that we can chat to
know much more about ourselves.


Don'tcha think if I wanted to be on Yahoo and MSN I would be there and
not in JSH?

I just had someone tell me that they couldn't talk to me in JSH cause it
wasn't a good place to chat... WTF is up with that... you found me here,
wouldn't that make it a good place to get to know someone?

EXAMPLE:here is not a good place to chat ? i just want us to chat on
yahoo or hot mail ok.

Does anyone else encounter this problem?

Yeah, I just got one of those emails and was wondering why someone would
suggest talking over AIM or Yahoo. Seems like here would be fine.

I still have yahoo and msn, but, yahoo is generally for work and msn is
for family.. JSH is just fun

I personally hate JSH's IM feature. I use a laptop with with touch zones
on my touch pad. It's pretty common that I'll accidently hit the zone of
my touchpad that is set to navigate a page back. For whatever reason if
I do this while in JSH's IM box, it closes the chat out.

Plus, the text size on JSH's IM box is awful for people with really high
resolution monitors like myself.

I ask if people mind using MSN but it has nothing to do with cams...I
don't even have one. MSN is also really easy to share pics with.
Whenever I want to show people pics on JSH, I have to first upload them
to photobucket and then link them.

In my case, my MSN account is a "catch all" account so I don't care who
I give that address to.

I just tell them that I am not interested in talking to them there, but
there are a few people that I make exceptions for...

all TOO frequently I'm afraid I've gotten that very same email.. WORD
for WORD!!

I'm told that on yahoo if you exchange photo's, that apparently gives
them access to your hard drive.. now.. although not totally sure this is
FACT.. I'm also NOT willing to test the theory.. I strongly insist that
here is where I 'chat' and if they want something ELSE.. they'll have to
go off and search it on their own..

as you stated green.. we have a VERY acceptable system already
incorporated into this site with NO need for venturing elsewhere..

Well a lot of people on this site know me and my character...so I think
that gives a little creditability that not everyone asking to shift over
to MSN or Yahoo has ulterior motives.

You could be rejecting some nice guys on some false assumption you have.

i do too but i tell them lets just talk her and some ask me for my email
lol i say i got email here they just leave then lol sometimes ,

prime example of someone i gave my yahoo too... trusting him not to have
ulterior motives.......

I'm just usually cautious who I give them out to.... I have quite a few
friends on all of them... and there are features on each one that I like
to play with sometimes....


I pretty much feel that a person should take a lil time out to get to
know you before jumping into every possible way of contacting you.

hence.. why I got rid of my cell phone a year ago. Can't tell you how
much I enjoy music and scenery now. Anyway, that's a whole other topic.

I agree green...I only ask if it looks like we might be talking for a
bit. Mainly becuase I can't read the text on JSH's IM due to my high
res monitor...I end up with all kinds of typos and look like a dumb ***.

And even after on MSN, I don't send or ask for pics unless people are
asking about stuff. I'l send pics of my house or car...stuff like that.
