Why would it be wrong for a man to take care of his body? Skin is skin -- there are differences between the genders but all skin needs care!
Do you want to look badly as you are aging? Sun damage, wrinkles, etc? I realize wrinkles are also caused from smoking, bad nutrition and genes; however, take care of the ONE body with which you were given! |

Pretty boy is hardly a description I would use for someone that takes care of himself.
Go to Barney's or Dillards or one of the high-end department stores for consultations. There are a ton of products out there to try. Education yourself then do for it! Calvin Klein has a great men's skincare line. |

seek balance
bro has/had perfect teeth, great hair, handsome, etc...but needed to use dermatological skin stuff since a young age, because his bio balance was messed up. His skin dried faster than a sheet hanging in the wind. Me; I tan like a walnut, and can adapt to arid heat or freezing cold, as long as my diet provides the right stuff for the body to maintain its constant battle with entropy and nature. Each person is different. Adapt your diet and lifestyle to fit your biochemistry, and life is good. |

That's what I meant by bad nutrition. |

No shame in it, especially if it's a requirement. Many folks, for instance, have sensitive skin on certain areas of their body. I have sensitive skin on my face, and I'm prone to redness and rash if I don't keep clean-shaven, or if I touch my face after handling tarpaper (the oils are caustic to me), or other things. I have to take certain precautions to avoid those rashes.

Do what you like, like what you do ... Unless you are sharing your skincare rituals with your buddies over drinks, how would they know? You can't 'see' a moisturizer on your face like you would see foundation or something. The only way you would look a little too 'metro' is if you started over-waxing your eyebrows, wore clear polish, or something like that ... |

I always carry a bottle of lotion in my truck. I get lots of laughs about it, but they sure appreciate it when I have it and they need it. |

Oil of Olay or Neutrogena is a great line and less expensive. Does it work? Yes and no. It's not a miracle worker. A good moisturizer can make a difference. Will it take off 10 years? No! |
