My favorite chop-sockey movie was "The Master of The Flying Guillotine", which had some totally out-of-hand chop-sockey action in it.

Shogun Assassin was my favorite, the lone wolf and cub, which it was based on. The first Kill Bill movie. The Kurosawa movie Ran. Fists of Fury, the way of the dragon and enter the dragon.

Dislike letting my nerd show in such a way...
Instead of saying Martial Arts movies because folks get confused; for instance House of Flying Daggers, Heaven and Earth, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero and Forbidden Kingdom are Wuxia. They are still martial arts movies, but it is funny me to hear these films listed with Kung-Fu flicks like Master of the Flying Guillotine and all of the Wu-Tang flicks. I like them all and it is cool to see so many other folks that do too, just funny is all. |

Zatouichi the blind swordsman is my favorite story martial arts/ samurai movies. My favorite one is the one with Beat Takeshi.
