If my old lady wants to refer to me as her old man...GREAT!!!!! It means that someone has claimed me for her own.

(and no...I do not refer to my woman as "my old lady")

I may be chronologically old to some.. ( feel like 30 act the same I suppose)..... BUT I would not care for the term "old man" that's like "hon" "babe" " sugar pie" and all those .bigsmile

to me, the term doesn't portray the age of the person it is directed toward. it reflects on how long the people have been together but also refers to the idea of being called an old worn out comfortable pair of sneakers...

I used to (in my youth) call my ladies my old lady, then I met a Native American woman who preferred I call her my wench or squaw, then I learned that sweetheart got a lot better responses, now it is either sweetheart or babe, and if I ever become commited in a relationship again I think I will just try yes dear!
