So was told today that I will be now working a 4 day work week. total of 32 hours max. No over time will be paid with out managements ok. I also had my annual review where I got great remarks, and should have gotten a large raise........ not this year again. Thank You republican party and presdent Bush. You drove this country in the ****ter and Obama and his lackies are pulling the lever. They have taken way our freedom and jobs, and homes. We are well on our way to fall to on the way side. Becomeing the new mexico, penny less and ran by criminals. O...... wait Mexico's the country thats getting our jobs and building our cars. So if Any one's in the market for a year old sports car that I bought last year when my job was so certain let me know. Just knock on the window I'll most likely be liveing in it. frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated

at least you have a job, i lost mine and this is the reason:

IN ORDER TO PUT PUBLIC OPINION INTO OUR HANDS WE MUST BRING IT INTO A STATE OF BEWILDERMENT BY GIVING EXPRESSION FROM ALL SIDES TO SO MANY CONTRADICTORY OPINIONS AND FOR SUCH LENGTH OF TIME AS WILL SUFFICE TO MAKE THE “GOYIM” LOSE THEIR HEADS IN THE LABYRINTH AND COME TO SEE THAT THE BEST THING IS TO HAVE NO OPINION OF ANY KIND IN MATTERS POLITICAL, which it is not given to the public to understand, because they are understood only by him who guides the public. This is the first secret.

11. The second secret requisite for the success of our government is comprised in the following: To multiply to such an extent national failings, habits, passions, conditions of civil life, that it will be impossible for anyone to know where he is in the resulting chaos, so that the people in consequence will fail to understand one another. This measure will also serve us in another way, namely, to sow discord in all parties, to dislocate all collective forces which are still unwilling to submit to us, and to discourage any kind of personal initiative which might in any degree hinder our affair. THERE IS NOTHING MORE DANGEROUS THAN PERSONAL INITIATIVE: if it has genius behind it, such initiative can do more than can be done by millions of people among whom we have sown discord. We must so direct the education of the GOYIM communities that whenever they come upon a matter requiring initiative they may drop their hands in despairing impotence. The strain which results from freedom of actions saps the forces when it meets with the freedom of another. From this collision arise grave moral shocks, disenchantments, failures. BY ALL THESE MEANS WE SHALL SO WEAR DOWN THE “GOYIM” THAT THEY WILL BE COMPELLED TO OFFER US INTERNATIONAL POWER OF A NATURE THAT BY ITS POSITION WILL ENABLE US WITHOUT ANY VIOLENCE GRADUALLY TO ABSORB ALL THE STATE FORCES OF THE WORLD AND TO FORM A SUPER-GOVERNMENT. In place of the rulers of to-day we shall set up a bogey which will be called the Super-Government Administration. Its hands will reach out in all directions like nippers and its organization will be of such colossal dimensions that it cannot fail to subdue all the nations of the world.

My hours will be cut soon as well. I have had something lined up already for those hours as long as it all works out as planned. Our boss was told he had to trim 10% from our budget and the only way he can get there is by cutting hours along with continuing education stipends and freezing merit raises. It's the new normal....that 32 hour work week. If I have to, I'll give up my direct tv and some other stuff. Just gotta do what we gotta do, ya know?

That is the way I look at it too. I only buy what I need now. No extras. It's better than losing my job entirely.

I still got work but with 16 years on my union job I now find myself on midnight shift due to layoffs. I suppose I am lucky to still have a job (yawn) cant seem to get enough sleep on this shift.

That's how it is with the associates on the line at my workplace. They cut out one whole second shift line and moved those people up to first shift (not much of a third shift here really). They also let go of all temporary positions. Not a union shop, but never a layoff in almost 30 years (because they use temps). Next thing to happen will surely be extra weeks off, or a layoff, for full time associates. I'm just praying it doesn't go that far, 'cause if they don't work, I can't either.

I was out shopping today and ran into a guy I worked with many years ago he said everyone in the plant is on 32 hours.
