One day at a time

My Goal is to enjoy each day as it comes and goes. If you go into each
day thinking something will go wrong like Murphy's Law it will. So hope
for the best if you only get middle of the road. Be thankful someone
else out there is always worse off!

Well, over this weekend, I mowed about a half acre of yard, weeded and
raked out my three gardens in front of my house, carried about 20 trash
containers full of leaves, etc., to the leaf, etc., pile, dug several
places to plant variuos perennials...this time I planted some purple
sage and some red clematis and pink azaleas, and then I "cordoned off
...with brick edging...a big section of my driveway and made a patio out
of it, then moved my patio furniture from the front deck to down there,
then I made spaghetti last night for everyone in the cul-de-sac...

This week I'm going to tackle the side yard and plant some more roses in
my rose garden there.

And the other day I bought a couple of pretty chartreuse green bushes
with pink flowers on them (can't remember the name) in my backyard.

It's really hard finding perennials that are both shade and dog tolerant
and, on top of that, planting things on a hillside, which most of my
backyard is comprised of ....steep slopes.

Any suggestions? I'm seriously thinking of going plastic.

I really want to do like rock gardens and things like that but it's a
very slow and tedious process for me because, with my bad back, it's
getting very hard to lift heavy things these days.

Where's my yard boy when I need him? Sigh...lol.

I'll try to wake up tomorrow and go from there..

im gunna take my oldest to the dr 60 miles away today... me to the dr 40
miles away tomoro... n hopejuly my dr will release me back to

then go back to work begining of next week!!!!!!

i love my job!!!!!!!!!!

now wait for 2 weeks n see how i realy feel about it.. hehehehehe

Mine is to go to California and take L A MOM out to lunch!!!
