Do you believe that the government should be more involved with business or should they keep out of business affairs?
I ask this for somehow the government and its budget are not well known for conducting profits in their administration. What do you believe to be true and what do you think should be done about this? |

The best thing for the government to do is stay the hell out of business. A few monopoly laws, and a cap on ceos' pay is literally all that is needed.
The more government is involved the less of a free market we have. We are a country founded on freedom still aren't we? |

The more government is involved the less of a free market we have. We are a country founded on freedom still aren't we? I agree. The government job is to govern not to rule over the land and the people. That's called "kingdom". Representative's job: Represent the people, vote. Senator's job : represent the states, discuss debate and vote. President's (and his cabinet's) job: executive power to implement whatever was decided upon by voting of the House Supreme Court's job: to interpret the law of land (Constitution) and apply it to any decision, bill ---whatever to make sure it suits law. I don't see anywhere here that government "should own the banks", should bailout banks, should subsidize everything and socialize and regulate the market. Actually the Constitution pretty much is made to keep the government out of the business of the people. "The government Shall not" , "Shall not"...and so on, "and if there is anything we forgot you can't do that either". That's pretty much to keep the government's hand out of private lives, to keep the government small, otherwise as I said, it becomes a damn kingdom or a dictatorship. And what the current government doing? Representatives: they certainly don't exactly doing what they are supposed to be. Senators: I'm scratching my head many times, are they for real or just waste space? President: Well, i won't say much about Obama, I have yet to see anything great or bad, but Bush should be sitting on a trial for breaking the Constitution several times. Supreme Court: Got hell of a controversy and corruption, you name it. Almost worse than a criminal gang under Bush. I'm kinda getting this from my memory of what I know, even though I wasn't born in USA, but obviously it's necessary the restate things that people just ignore or forget. |
