There will always be people without pictures here. It doesn't make sense if they're trying to meet people. But, there's not much we can do about it .

When the interaction with a member is out in the forum, I do not care in the slightest about pictures. E-mail contact is another story....

Yes, me too. I will probably respond at first to be nice, but I will ask why they don't have a picture.

Most of the time the ones that do not have pictures are those that are either checking out the site, not comfortable with posting their pictures on the internet, already in a relationship, or just here for friends only.

Myself as far as the ones on the forums I could careless if they have a picture up or not. Sure it is nice to see who your talking to. But........then how do you know that some of those that post a picture that really is them.

As far as the other pictures that some post be it wolf's , dragons, sunsets or what ever else they may be I would bet almost 90% of those post within the forums pretty often. What can I say for I normally will have a picture that is not me posted as well. Why cause I get tired of looking at my picture.

Now yes if it is someone that I'm interested in or them me then yes I do want to see a picture to see what they look like. Otherwise I pass them by. But as far as talking on the frorums then I could care less for it is not their pictures that I look at it is what they have to say and how they said it.

What I find so distressing is the paranoia, distrust, & sometimes downright anger generated towards someone with no pic...it's always the same ones...& always very annoying...get over it already.

Why does it bother you so much if people want to see pictures of others they're chatting with?

Hummmmmmmm I know this was not directed towards me but........I feel the need to answer it as well. As far as others feeling the need to see a picture whom they are talking to is not a problem.

But.....when it gets to the point that one can not let it go and must always come out with a sarcastic remark towards someone just because they do not post a picture then it becomes a problem.

All one has to do if they do not care to talk to those that do not post a picture is not to comment to them it is that simple.

I really don't see where there is such a need for one to post a picture if they are only here to post and have a little conversation. Sure it would be different if they wanted to get to know you in order to get to know you more as a person for possible more.

But there is no need for anyone to be rude or sarcastic to those that prefer not to post a picture. And yes I have seen it more then once here.

Are people so hung up on pictures that even those without a picture can not even be allowed to be just a friend?

Like I said above, if I'm talking to someone just in the forums, I don't care if they have a picture or not. But, I will ask those who email me about it if they don't have pictures. It's more that I share pictures, so I expect others to as well. Of course, I'm not going to demand they have a picture, as it doesn't really matter until it comes down to meeting someone.

My self I will talk to anyone regardless if they post a picture or not. But.....if they are trying to go beyond a friendship then heck ya I want to see whom I'm talking too. For I'm not going to sit here and say it is all that is inside a person. I mean let's be honest this is reality if there is not something there that attacts me to that person more then just their words. I'm not going into talking about my life or anything personal with another if they want even share a picture with me.

But as I said above 90% of those that do not post a picture are not here for a relationship. And those that are I have found out that they would gladly send you pictures of them in personal e-mail if you so desire them too.

Yes I will admit that it does make one wonder why they do not post a picture. Well not all go that route to undermined others some people actually have a confidence problem and are afraid others will not accept them due to their size or what they look like. Matter of fact I do know some that it took them over a year before they posted a picture due to this same thing.

But as far as talking to them it did not stop me and believe me they have turned out to be one of the sweetest and most caring persons I have talked to on this site.
