Well she what you said Tim but it still won't go any further. So Tom or Mowtown is this a job for a mechanic or auto glass? either one can do it, its what one will do it cheapest with out breaking the damn window Yeah, either one should be able to do it. Auto glass place might be cheaper because they don't pay that much labor. I had this problem on my buick, had to get a new motor in there...about $100 Had a motor go out on my Nissan. Bought a whole door at the junkyard for 50 changed the motor and threw the rest of the stuff away.

first thing betty can she hear the motor run when she hits the switch? its not very often that a motor goes bad, most of the time its a piece inside that breaks

So if its a motor do Auto glass places ghange those?

So if its a motor do Auto glass places ghange those? I thought you said it went half way up??? Does it not move at all? Then it may be the motor. I think an auto glass place should be able to change a motor.

She said it seemed to be going down slower than usual ..like in steps then it went up a bit and just stopped. Couldn't do anything with it anymore.

Couldn't do anything with it anymore. with out looking at it Its hard to say, it may be jammed. all she can do is seal it, making sure the window cant fall down and break thne get it in to a glass shop for them to look at it. I thought I was out of the glass business
