Expectations lead to disappointment. Better not to have any. Question? If you don't have expectations.. Don't you end up with the bottom of the barrel types? or people who are not what they say they are? and this applies to even everyday living? you don't have expectations then you get spoiled fruit when you shop? or your car doesn't get fixed right?   I get that when I do have expectations. Trying something new.

With a new year brings a new beginning, I can't help to be a little optimistic.

Having expectations of others is a dangerous path. Usually that means wanting to change someone to meet your ideal. BAD idea! Better to just keep up the search until you find someone you gel with regardless of what differences you both have. NO EXPECTATIONS!
