The late night parties every other Friday are one thing. I can live with that. It's a Friday. It's not that unusual.

Assuming your in some type of apartment situation. Ask them nicely to please quiet down during those times. And if they get "snotty" with you. You tried the "neighborly approach first. Just call the police.. Let them know you mean business about the noise after 10 pm.
 . do you have a lease? If so what does it say about parties / noise?

Oh, they sound like they are having a REALLY good time! I wouldn't care if it wasn't for the fact they are starting up right when I'm trying to fall asleep. |

That's why I dont like to live in apartments. I have had my neighbors complain about ME and girls before.

Last year, our neighbor banged on their ceiling with some sort of broom the very first weekend we were together.
 She also reported it right away to the board. We toned it down quite a bit after that; but what she did was rotten. 
These days, she has her own frequent lesbian love-in thing going on, loud laughing, music and all - very late into the night sometimes....and I can't do anything about it because the board is corrupt and has a grudge against me for unrelated reasons. *sigh* |
