Ok, Im just sayin...........I cant deal with anyone WAY overweight nor a toothpick size. I am short and lightweight but I think its in the right proportions.

Im pretty self concious about my weight and work out regularly.... being so...I tend to be attracted to those with like interests. how about you....does size matter??? Yes it should not matter it should be ones heart you see and fall in love with.. But ...........Im 44 and work out every day since I was 16. I feel good and want to look and feel good for my man.  Comon interests are important so I cant see( honey Im going for a run) ok sweetie Ill just be laying here watching tv for the day. Im active and energetic and yes I want a mate who is also.. can keep up with me and push me to my limets( in more ways than one) so am I a bad person for that? NO I am not just want to be a hotti tell Im 90....  |

It is a very sensitive subject for most people.....but I think we should all try to be healthy......if you are happy with yourself, then that is all that matters in the long run.....

this is one of those topics that it's better to be quiet about Oh.....there is a SMART man on here! hahahahaha! I think most women are VERY self conscience about their size; but in the end it really is all about how you feel about yourself. Everyone has a weight that they feel comfortable with and what they are unhappy with. Problem is that MANY don't even consider that there may be a medical problem that keeps a person or gets a person to the size they are. Judging before you know someone is showing how "shallow" you are. So this man is SMART by saying it's better to be quiet. Really, I don't think it's meant as a 'judgment'. We all have personal preferences and that doesn't make us shallow. I prefer taller men than someone shorter than me...no difference in prefering someone of a certain weight. Everyone "Judges what they want and what they don't want, in a mate/relationship". This world is all about "what pleases me visibly; I mean isn't that why people view more profiles that have pictures"; the ole adage that says a picture tells a thousand words and all of that....I believe we may be talking apples and oranges here! I am not saying it's wrong or right to decide you only are interested in people that visibly please you....I am saying this man was SMART in saying what he said. Personally, I don't care for 'shallow people' that don't want to even get to know people that don't fit into their mold of what they are physically attracted to. I have met many people of all sizes, shapes and colors and they all have something that is interesting about them. I think many people miss out on some awesome people by judging a bit too much. |

Ya 300 to 400 pounds brings up health issues. I couldn't because I want to do things with them. I had an obese neighbor that couldn't get out her door before she was out of breath. It was sad watching her go down the drain like that because she is a good friend of mine.
Getting to the point, I can look passed weight if you can keep up with me. |

 this in no way was meant to be shallow. just no that as you may not be attracted to all.....there are some not attracted to you as well. and I do agree with another post.....( I hike , mtn bike, swim ,rock climb /rappel, ride motor cycles, and race....) can you keep up??? nothing personnal, just common ground |

I work out at the gym, it will take me time to get this weight off, but I'm worth it!! Also I'm pretty fly for a fat guy Keep it up Pats, I lost 50lbs last yr doing that..!! makes you feel a whole lot better about yourself...

As far as size yes, it does matter in some aspects. For example I don't want to be with someone that when I go on a hike with them I am worried about a stroke or heart attack. That is where the compatibility comes in do we fit each others lifestyle. I also will be honest someone that is lets say a 100 pounds over wt well that isn't going to be attractive to me. If they are doing something about it then great I could be interested. I think the bottom line for me is what are their health issues. Be that they are skinny or heavyset. |
