I have a slipped disc in my lower back and as it sits right now I can
NOT move what so ever. Does anybody have any suggestions for some
relief? Pain is shooting really badly down my legs. I am in tears.

I have two degenerated disks in my lower back and have had two very
severe spinal spasms, too, in the past. Not sure if what's wrong with
you can be alleviated by the same thing I do, but..for me, hot bath
(relaxes tension in my muscles), exercise ...to the point I can stand
it..if the pain is too much, then I quit. Umm..ibuprofen, heating pad.
Sometimes I'm "okay," other times it's all I can do to walk. I try to
get as much exercise as I can because as bad as it "seems," that's
really good for you..strengthens your muscles.

Don't be afraid to call an ambulance if you think you need to go to the
hospital... Plenty of drugs, but not very many good ones are over the
counter...

pain killers,,, and it sounds like a pinched nerve and they have pills
specificly for pinched nerves lyrica i think it's called short of that
a hot bath massage and ice pack will help and yes ibuprofen would be of
some use now a good bottle of booze is the old fashioned pain killer lol
but don't do both pills and drink o k??? get well soon whisper

A cortzone injection can help short term, but you should really seek
medical attention ASAP.
Suffered the same thing last year. Ended up having an
operation.flowerforyou flowerforyou glasses

Whisper, I am so sorry, glad you are calling the ambulance if it is that
bad. You need more than just pills. May need some hospital time and
prescription strength antiinflammatory meds to get the swelling down.
Hope you are better soon. May need surgery eventually. Take care girl.

A fifth of your favorite hard alcohol, a fat weed sack, and a pillow and
blanket. Usually works for me. Oh, and Tylenol PM's.
