What have you been doing differently, if anything, since the economy took a nosedive? What have you cut back on that you used to enjoy?

My family is not feeling the effects of the bad economy yet. We have been stocking up on essentials though just in case.

Personally - I have created a household budget. Almost all dining out, fast food, quick trips to Wal-Mart and non essentials have been stopped. Also, avoiding any late fees, that's a tank of gas or a water bill.

That is a really good idea. It has helped me out in a jam. Buying extras so when i need them I have them.

It's only affected me to the point that I have no life whatsoever.

I haven't cut back on anything yet.

I've been investing in stocks more, now is the best time to start investing, because once the economy bounces back, your investment will return with friends.

I'll be starting-up my business here within the next three monthes, so if it can survive now while the economy is down, it will thrive once things pick up. Of course, I'm looking into the long term future.

I haven't had to cut back too much, already do that, try to run all errands at one time, buy larger amts of item that you can store, etc.. gives me more money to travel which I love to do..

I now bring lunch from home, and I’ve changed my spending habits. I buy only what I really need and have cut way back on the want spending. Things I probably should have done anyway.
