meh, he's doing fine.

He likes to sleep at my feet.

I think he's constipated or something. I have searched the whole house and no poop or pee.

I am giving him till noon tomorrow, then it's off to the vet.

He's a lover though. Snuggles at my feet at night and purrs ALL the time!

Likes to talk to me a lot too...

Won't poop? You got a kitty litter box all set up? Cuz they DO like to do their bidness in a kitty litter box with litter in it, you know? laugh

Yeah. That is until he starts to poop on your bedsheets. That won't be so "cute". laugh

They don't poop to mark their territory. They poop because they need to poop. :))

They mark their territory by spraying, normally on the corner of furniture and stuff. They'll also rub their faces against the same areas as another means of marking.

It's similar to how Rare's beard marks its territory! laugh

um, I have owned cats before, ya know.

Yes, he has a nice box with litter and everything, including a mat to wipe his paws when he leaves.

I am going to go buy him a hide-a-box tomorrow. Maybe that will make him feel better?

Oh well....

He's on a strict diet of Science Diet. The Humane Society gave it to me so they can see if something bothers him here, so I can't switch the food yet.

We will see...

But he definitely has to go to PetsMart tomorrow and get his nails filed down or something cause he keeps getting stuck to the blanket he massages on an hourly blanket. My blanket has never been so relaxed....

You can also get a "Pedi-Paws" too. They sell them at my local Fry's Electronics, complete with extra buffing wheels and stuff.

is that the alternative for cutting nails?

is that the alternative for cutting nails?

Yeah. It's supposedly a much less-painful one, too. It's kinda like a battery-operated barrel sander, but with a plastic insert that acts as a guide for the pet's nails. Instead cutting the nails, which can cause pain and bleeding, the Pedi-Paws will gradually grind down on the claw until it's blunt.

I've even got one too, and have used it on my cat until he died a couple years ago.

So I know what I'm talking about, Rare! laugh
