When someone wants me to do something I have learned to tell them I will think about it and get back with them. If I still want to do it after 24 hours I still make it very clear what the boundries are and ask a lot of questions. If I don't like the answers I say no.
99% of the time someone asks you to do something at the last minute it was their responsibility and they found out it was a pain or impossible and they don't want to get stuck holding the bag. |

I have a hard time saying no. I still do it, but its uncomfortable.
I used to be really really shy... And then I realized no one else will stand up for me if I dont stand up for myself, so I made myself do something I didn't like, or feared, every day. It worked. :) |
