WAKE UP ...THERE IS ALREADY A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF US PROPERTY owned and controled by foreign dignataries and corporations...We impounded many propertys owned by middle eastern companys and individuals under the first and secound Bush administrations but congress forced the return of a large portion of it..And Billy shirt chaser released even more..We dont give back peoperty to drug dealers so why should it be returned to terrorist groups...BETTER IDEA ...NO BANK BAILOUT..FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BUYS UP PROPERTYS AT AUCTION AND TURNS INTO LOW INCOME HOUSEING.........

And hires people to rehab the houses and make them green houses.

if they would have taken the 1.5 trillion and given it to each tax payer in an even share as a tax refund then it would have helped the economy and the people

corporate welfare is not going to help the people

it has been shown in the past that hand outs do not work but giving the people back their money does

when he people are taxed to the point of bankruptcy what did they expect to happen

the gov is taxing in layers

tax your income
tax your purchases
tax your property
tax your pleasure

if you are in the 30% income tax bracket fed then add your state income tax then the sales tax and again property tax fuel tax licensing taxes not to mention the tacking on the price of goods and services of the taxes paid by the business providing the goods or services

all said and done you probably are in the 60-75% tax bracket

but hey

what do i know

grumble grumble grumble grumble
rant rant rant rant rant
explode explode explode explode explode explode explode

No remorse with Obama here. He's working hard and he's only been on the job for 4 weeks.

naaaaaaaa...I just think alot of what he's doing is slipping by most...I'll give you three examples...#1 that healthcare bill he signed...was the one that President Bush vetoed twice...the provision that the Dems stripped out..." prove US ctizenship "...was the reason he vetoed it and rightfully so...O'bama signed it...so now illegals have access to healthcare...#2 the welfare bill...that Clinton signed along with Newt and the boys...well...the Dems just added a provision...one little line...before you had a total of 5 years to be on welfare...well...the Dems just added a line that says " unless you have no other means of support "...which now makes welfare open ended again...#3 ...another provision the the Dems quietly got rid of in the welfare bill is...Newt and the boys put the breaks on welfare...they added a provision that stated..." all single non children baring males "...in order to receive food stamps...had to prove that they looked for work...at least 20 hours a month, and that they could only receive food stamps for 3 months...well...Obama stripped that out too...what hes doing is rewarding failure ...in ALL of his policies...

One thing I've learned about the Porkunus promoters is, they can't read or refuse to.
Reminds me of part of the song title, Blinded by the Light. The poor souls are blinded by the Light of their Savior-in-Chief.
They will see, soon enough, that the New Welfare System is the old Welfare System with extra Benni's tacked on.

Back on topic.
If you search, Realtors serving Chinese investors, you'll see many of them listed.
Should they also go to Arlington and pi$$ on Tombstones, Mr Fanta?

We owe gazzilions of dollars to China.
We have more than a million homes in foreclosure.
How about Chinese Gov. be offered the chance to exchange some of the debt for foreclosed properties.
The positive points being;
The most of them wouldn't actually live here and they could pay Property Managers rent and maintain the properties.
States and local Gov. could raise property taxes and outside money would be coming in.

If I understand your idea correctly, it sounds like a bad idea to me.

Years ago ; i was told the USA forgave many, many , debts to other countries and places. Why not just start collecting what is owed from others; debts that have not been forgiven?

all of you are so funny. abraham lincoln said this:.....
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money,
first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks, and corporations
that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

warren buffet told a story that inferred that we would be busting our arses to pay the rent on the homes that we used to own outright.

Psst,,,,

Warren Buffett, the world's richest man, is backing Barak Obama for US president and thinks current US economic policy will push the dollar lower against other global currencies.

Buffett told a press conference here Monday he had offered support to both Obama and Democratic rival Hillary Clinton but that since it appeared Obama would win the party's nomination, "I will be very happy if he is elected president.

"I will be very happy if he is elected president. He is my choice." Not exactly food for thought.

But to find out more, I discovered a May 5, 2008, on-the-fly interview with Buffett carried by CNBC.

The interviewer, Becky Quick, asked Buffett to pretend for a moment that she was John McCain. She then asked, "Is there anything I can do, any economic issue I can get behind, that would actually make you think twice about potentially supporting me?"

Buffett replied: "I would say that if you felt the tax burden should be shifted in a significant way to the super-rich and away from the middle class, I would say that would make me re-evaluate you."

The richest man in the world says he would only vote for McCain if he were to change course and shift the tax burden away from the middle-class and onto the super-rich.
The richest man in the world agrees with Obama's economic policies!
